Sharon Lomanno was born into artisans, musicians and illunisionists family, blood mixed between noble and modest roots .

Her childhood was marked by intense events, but especially by a large touch with nature and animals.
The imagination begins to be a way to transcend reality and to be closer to the nature and the real essence.
 

She finished mathematics and physics at the high school with the maximum of notes and she won a scholarship to study in Rome: Literature and Philosophy, choosing the branch of communication and cinema.

She graduated with honors and won two scholarships, one of 15.000 euros to entry  to the Master in Marketing and Communication in Luxury Goods with Santi Versace, and one for Master of “Reporterisme” in Barcelone.

She ended the master and  won the possibility to work in a big Italian Fashion enterprise as the best strategist, she refused to find an internship at Corrado Maria Falsini, photographer of the Opera House and National Theatre of Rome.

She began expositions and works for many clients as Heineken and Bacardi but her soul refused to continue with these type of jobs and she has stopped to dedicate herself to dance with the choreographer and dancer Susana Isunza.
This included the research on  pre-Hispanic, Cuban and African, mythologies and history.

So she started the study of the semiotics of religions and movements that make a great enrichment of photographic works, especially in the last serie of the "La guerre des sorciers".

The key of her research  was focused on the study of Tai Chi, Chi Kung, with the dancer and actress Ayako Zushi and improvisation  and  natural voice with the choreographer, director and dancer of Puerto Rico Myrna Renaud with whom she worked on "La voz que sana", and on Documentary/art

" En Blanco" and l"Estaca".

Disciplines that are closely related and complementary to photography and video.

She continued her research on human beings with clandestins in Barcelona and then she decided to go in Africa and she passed almost 2 years documenting and working as Art director, photographer and videographer.
